Welcome !! My name is Lolly Gobbles, I am 22 years old Brisbane based food blogger. I’m also a proud young mother of a little boy and girlfriend and lover to Bartman, formally known as Bart. I am also now a qualified pastry chef, and soon to be chef.

Welcome to misslollylovesfood. I started this blog in November of 2010 initially to keep a record of my recipes and share them with my friends and family, but over time its turned out into a little more than that.

I see food much more than energy, fat, protiens etc. Food is life. It is a common denominator amongst all human kind. Not only is it about substance, but its also about nourishment. I love food, raw food, cooked food, ethnic food, strange food. I just love food. I enjoy bringing people I care about together over food. I find it ritualistic in a sense. It gives me peace of mind and makes me happy. Being in the kitchen gives me peace, as I love being creative and I find food exciting and so versatile.

I started misslollylovesfood as a way to chronicle my recipes and experiences with food. It originally started as just recipes, however now I have started to write reviews, and document my journey becoming a pâtissier. Misslollylovesfood is ever evolving.
